Technology Lesson Demonstration

I decided to create a review game using Slides with Friends. I was able to create different slides and a variety of ways that the students could answer questions. I provided multiple choice, text box, and chart questions for them to respond to. The students were engaged in the lesson as they were able to sit at their desks and perform the task on their iPads. Their answers were sent directly to my screen which allowed me to see which students were mastering this lesson and which students needed extra support.

To allow differentiation in this lesson, the students who need extra support will be provided with additional games that can be played on the iPad as well as hands on science activities. To create a more hands on and visual approach to this lesson, the teacher can create weather in bottles as a fun and engaging science experiment. The teacher and the students can make these together and they can be placed in the room as a reference throughout the lesson. For example, a thunderstorm bottle could have yellow pipe cleaners for lightening, blue food coloring for rain, and cotton balls for the clouds.
